Aleph Talk
Learn Hebrew in 60 Days
A structured 60-day Hebrew course built for Malayalam, Hindi and Sinhala speakers. Ten-minute daily lessons take a complete beginner from the alphabet to everyday conversation, each closing with a five-question quiz, and an XP, streak and weekly-leaderboard system keeps learners coming back day after day.
What Aleph Talk Does, and How It Was Built
Most language apps assume you think in English. Aleph Talk does not: every Hebrew word is explained in Malayalam, Hindi or Sinhala, so a learner is never translating twice to understand one sentence.
The course has a shape rather than an endless feed. Sixty days run in order, each building on the last — you start at aleph and bet, move through everyday vocabulary, and arrive at conversations you can actually hold. Every lesson closes with a five-question quiz; pass it and the day is marked complete, the streak grows and the XP climbs.
Audio was the hard part. Where a real recording exists the app plays it; everywhere else it falls back to on-device speech synthesis, so no word is ever left silent — a design decision that let the course ship complete instead of waiting on a full recording budget.
I built and published this one under my own Apple Developer Program account, which makes it the app on this page you can trace directly back to me: the App Store listing names me as the seller.
